after a hiatus caused by work, stress and teething pains, i've returned to rant and rave and pour out more information and feelings!
well i've been pretty good in general, work is fine, but not quite as good as i'd imagined it to be. i'm still not as readily inclined to do it as some of my colleagues are. nonetheless, i think it's a much better job thatn many other people in the world have, so i'm pretty happy with it, plus it pays decently.
i spent three months on board the Vigilance as a little bitch, and am now at navigation school, preparing to become a navigating officer on board some as yet unknown ship. when i get done in february, i hope to go off to iraq, but if i don't, i'd be glad to just stay in singapore and do some happy normal sailing. i'm in the middle of some practical assessments, which is nice.
there's been some uncertainty in my life about moving out... i'd like to do it, move out, that is. but due to lots of difficulties, i may have to postpone that for a good while. i was thinking of renting too, but that's not a financially sound option. i guess i'm just going to play it slwo and see how it goes.
in the meantime, i'm glad to report that i've found myself a nice decent climbing gym to patronise, i'm pretty happy about that! and rugby is going to be pretty exciting once we get started with the season next year (inter-formation). i hope navy does well, but there's plenty of work to be done.
